Is electrical installation required?

Electrical hardwire installation is required for our Wall Mounted 48 Amp model. If you require assistance with installation, we recommend contacting QMerit. QMerit is the leading provider of EV Charger installation services nationwide. Hardwire installation is not required for our 16, 32 or 40 Amp models.

which electric vehicles are your chargers compatible with?

The DEWALT EV Chargers are compatible with all Electric Vehicles which have a SAE-J1772 charging port. This includes all major manufacturers such as Ford, Chevy, BMW, Porsche, and Toyota. Adapters are available and sold separately for Tesla models.

Yes, DEWALT EV Chargers are equipped with over 10 advanced safety features and are designed to prevent overvoltage, overcurrent, overheating, and overcharging. CSA and FCC certified, the chargers are rated for indoor and outdoor use and are equipped with surge protection and circuit temperature sensors.

Can your chargers be used indoor and outdoor?

Yes, all our chargers are indoor and outdoor rated with an IP66 weatherproof rating.
